About us

We are Roy and Jenny. We met in 2000 while we both working in the restaurant industry. With great passion for food and wine, we launched diVine tours in January 2006. It’s been an exciting adventure so far. We’re driven to provide the best possible small group wine tours at a reasonable price.

Hi, I’m Roy.  I have grown up in and around Terrigal, a seaside town on the Central Coast.  With a passion for good wine and food, I feel lucky to have the Hunter Valley wine region on my doorstep.

My hobbies include surfing, cooking and gardening.  I recently completed by permaculture design certificate and am always trying to live a more sustainable life.

Even with a million tour kilometres under my belt now, I’m still trying to make our tours the best possible.  I believe they are the best but don’t listen to my biased opionon, come and experience a diVine tour and see for yourself.

Hi, I’m Jen.  I remember sitting with Roy, back in about 2004, enjoying a couple of glasses of wine & dreaming about the business we would love to have in the future.  We were both Restaurant Managers on the Central Coast and had a joint passion for the food & wine industry…especially the wine!!

Fast forward to 2020 & I’m proud to say that our little dream, diVine Tours, has been operating now for over 15 years, with thousands of happy wine tasters to our credit.

For my part, I’m slightly less visible than Roy, my kids tell me I’m a bad driver so I’ve never been trusted with that job, but I’m always a willing participant when there’s a new wine to sample or market research to be done!

Along with the business, I have maintained my career in hospitality, & I am particularly interested in working with organic produce & supporting sustainable farming practices.  I love growing our own food & am passionate about everything garden-to-plate. I look forward to promoting the work of more organic & biodynamic wine producers as a part of our business into the future.
